Finding your game system's
MAC address

To find the MAC address of your XBox 360:

  1. Go to the System area of the XBox Dashboard.
  2. Select Network Settings .
  3. Select Edit Settings.
  4. From Additional Settings, select Advanced Settings.
  5. At the bottom of this screen you'll see a heading called Wired MAC Address. It is a string of twelve numbers and letters, for example 123456789ABC.

Please note: Wireless connections for the XBox 360 are not supported at this time.

To find the MAC address of your XBox:

  1. Disconnect your XBox from the network.
  2. Make sure there is not a game in the system and turn it on.
  3. From the XBox Dashboard, choose XBox Live. You will get an error message telling you that your Xbox can't establish a network connection.
  4. From the Connect Status screen, select Settings, then Network Settings.
  5. In the lower right hand corner, you will see "MAC=" followed by the MAC address of your Xbox. It is a string of twelve numbers and letters, for example 123456789ABC.
To find the MAC address of your PlayStation:
  1. Disconnect your PlayStation from the network.
  2. Load the start-up CD.
  3. Continue through the CD until it tests for a network connection.
  4. Once the test fails, press the select button.
  5. The string of twelve numbers and letters (for example 12:34:56:78:9A:BC) is the MAC address of your PlayStation.

To find the MAC address of your GameCube:

  1. Remove the broadband adapter from the GameCube.
  2. The MAC address of your GameCube is written on the bottom of the adapter. It is a string of twelve numbers and letters, for example
    12 34 56 78 9A BC.
